Privacy notice
This notice explains how LA Consulting FZ-LLC handles the personal data you send through this website. The site collects very little, and it uses no cookies.
Who is responsible
LA Consulting FZ-LLC, a free zone limited liability company licensed by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ), licence no. 47034076. What is collected
- Quick Brief: your name and work email and, if you provide them, your organisation, country, the theme of the issue and your description of it.
- Contact form: your name, work email, the type of organisation you represent and your message.
- Method PDF request: your name, company and work email, used to send you the one-page PDF by email.
- Visit statistics: anonymous, aggregated figures such as the number of visits, the pages viewed and the referring website. No cookies are used, and no profile of you as an individual is created.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal data through the forms.
Why it is used, and on what basis
Your details are used only to reply to you, to send the method PDF you requested and, if you wish, to discuss working together. A PDF request does not add you to any mailing list. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). You may withdraw your consent at any time by email. Visit statistics are used only to understand how the website is used.
Who else handles it
- Web3Forms receives each form submission and forwards it by email.
- Google Workspace provides the email service and, for Quick Briefs, the spreadsheet in which enquiries are recorded.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and, through Cloudflare Web Analytics, produces the anonymous visit statistics.
These providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Your details are never sold, shared for marketing or added to mailing lists.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Where an engagement follows, correspondence is kept for as long as the contract and applicable law require.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal data held about you, to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw your consent. Write to the email address above, and your request will be answered within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the UAE Data Office.
Security
Data is held in password-protected business accounts, and access is limited to Luis Pinho de Aguiar.
